This early 1970's Gruen Diver has clearly been well cared for over the decades. The solid stainless steel case is in very good condition, with only minor age wear. The dial is practically pristine and the large, triangular indices are easily legible even in low light conditions. The black enamel club hands have a hard, glossy finish and they look brand new. The bezel rotates in both directions. The crown has ample grip and it winds and sets easily. All of this is well preserved beneath the new crystal I installed during the overhaul.
Inside, the in-house Gruen N510SS movement keeps time with great accuracy, as you'd expect. The original dust cap is present too. The stainless steel US-made Twiston bracelet is very comfortable on the wrist and accommodates a variety of wrist sizes. Overall, this is a very well preserved, unabashedly Seventies diver's watch that would make a fine daily wearer.
Please note that all mechanical watches, including automatics, require occasional winding in order to function properly. The watch will be well packaged and shipped out within one business day and tracking information is always included. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask prior to purchase and I'll reply promptly. Thank you for looking and have a great day!
