Dating to 1966, the Hamilton "Seaman II" looks astonishingly contemporary. The one-piece stainless steel case is in good condition, with average age wear and some faint pitting to the case reverse. At 32.7mm, the case is notably larger than many contemporary models. The white vertically-striped dial is nearly pristine, the Hamilton signature is clearly legible, and the silver applique indices looks great. The mirror-polished pitched Dauphine hands are perfectly preserved beneath the brand new crystal I installed during the overhaul. The crown has plenty of grip and the watch winds and sets easily.
Inside, the ETA 2391 movement is in very good condition. It keeps time accurately and looks incredible while doing so!
The Hamilton comes with brand new 18mm oilskin leather bands in a rich mocha hue that compliments the steel case quite nicely.
Please note that all mechanical watches, including automatics, require occasional winding in order to function properly.
