This is one classy Fifties Veri-Thin! The tonneau case is in very good condition, with light to average age wear. The dial is very well preserved beneath the original, mineral glass crystal, with elegant reflective gold Breguet numerals. The hands are a deep red gold, matching the indices perfectly.
Inside, the in-house calibre 415 movement keeps time with great accuracy, as you'd expect. The watch comes on German-made black tapered leather straps that are both supple and sturdy. With its polished gold case and tidy Fifties aesthetic, this Gruen would look great peeking out from beneath a cuff.
